Industrialist R Veeramani Faces New POCSO Case

Tamil Nadu's central crime branch has registered a new POCSO case against industrialist R Veeramani following a complaint from a mother alleging sexual abuse of her minor daughter. Veeramani, chairman of Gem group, is already in police custody and was arrested under POCSO in August. Three associates have also been arrested in connection with the abuse of minor girls. The Special Investigation Team is investigating the case and has appealed to the public for information. Veeramani is 84 years old.

तमिलनाडु की सेंट्रल क्राइम ब्रांच ने एक माँ की शिकायत के बाद उद्योगपति आर. वीरमणि के खिलाफ POCSO का एक नया मामला दर्ज किया है। माँ ने अपनी नाबालिग बेटी के यौन शोषण का आरोप लगाया है। जेम ग्रुप के चेयरमैन वीरमणि पहले से ही पुलिस हिरासत में हैं और उन्हें अगस्त में POCSO के तहत गिरफ्तार किया गया था। नाबालिग लड़कियों के शोषण के संबंध में तीन सहयोगियों को भी गिरफ्तार किया गया है। स्पेशल इन्वेस्टिगेशन टीम मामले की जांच कर रही है और उसने जनता से जानकारी देने की अपील की है। वीरमणि 84 साल के हैं।
