A Delta Air Lines flight bound for Boston made an emergency landing in Porto, Portugal, on Sunday after smoke was detected in the cabin. The Airbus A330, carrying 296 passengers from Barcelona, landed safely. Fourteen passengers required assistance, with four taken to the hospital for mild smoke inhalation. The cause of the smoke is currently unknown. This incident follows a recent pattern of four emergency landings for Delta within a single week, including issues with cabin fumes and pressurization.
