UPTET Result to be Re-evaluated After Court Orders Two Questions Removed

The Allahabad High Court has ordered the removal of two controversial questions from the UPTET 2026 exam's master set, impacting the results for lakhs of aspirants. The court ruled that questions with multiple correct answers are invalid and should be excluded from the evaluation process. Consequently, the exam will now be considered out of 148 marks instead of 150. The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission has been directed to recalculate scores and issue revised scorecards for all affected candidates.

इलाहाबाद हाई कोर्ट ने UPTET 2026 परीक्षा के मास्टर सेट से दो विवादित सवालों को हटाने का आदेश दिया है, जिसका असर लाखों उम्मीदवारों के नतीजों पर पड़ेगा। कोर्ट ने फैसला सुनाया कि एक से ज़्यादा सही जवाब वाले सवाल अमान्य हैं और उन्हें मूल्यांकन प्रक्रिया से बाहर रखा जाना चाहिए। नतीजतन, परीक्षा को अब 150 के बजाय 148 अंकों का माना जाएगा। उत्तर प्रदेश शिक्षा सेवा चयन आयोग को सभी प्रभावित उम्मीदवारों के लिए अंकों की फिर से गणना करने और संशोधित स्कोरकार्ड जारी करने का निर्देश दिया गया है।
