Fisheries Expert B. Madhusoodana Kurup, 71, Passes Away

B. Madhusoodana Kurup, a distinguished fisheries expert and the founding Vice-Chancellor of Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies, has passed away at the age of 71. He died on Sunday in the city. Kurup also previously served as an advisor to the State Fisheries Minister S. Sarma. Fisheries Minister V. E. Abdul Gafoor has offered his condolences for Kurup's death. His passing marks the loss of a significant figure in the field of fisheries education and research.

मछली पालन के जाने-माने विशेषज्ञ और केरल यूनिवर्सिटी ऑफ फिशरीज एंड ओशन स्टडीज के संस्थापक वाइस-चांसलर बी. मधुसूदन कुरुप का 71 साल की उम्र में निधन हो गया है। रविवार को शहर में उनका निधन हुआ। कुरुप पहले राज्य के मत्स्य पालन मंत्री एस. शर्मा के सलाहकार भी रह चुके हैं। मत्स्य पालन मंत्री वी. ई. अब्दुल गफूर ने कुरुप के निधन पर शोक व्यक्त किया है। उनके निधन से मछली पालन की शिक्षा और अनुसंधान के क्षेत्र में एक महत्वपूर्ण हस्ती का नुकसान हुआ है।
