CPI(M) district secretary V. Chenthamarakshan has demanded justice for the families of three youngsters killed in the Nedumbassery car crash. He alleged that influential people were attempting to weaken the case against the accused and downplay the accident. Chenthamarakshan questioned the decision to transfer the accused to a borstal facility instead of a sub-jail, raising concerns about outside influence. He also demanded action against Hindu Aikya Vedi leader K.P. Sasikala for alleged derogatory remarks about the victims.
