Samajwadi Party's Student Bicycle Distribution Event Cancelled After Bulldozer Action

A planned event by the Samajwadi Party to distribute bicycles to 1,000 female students in Ghaziabad has been cancelled. The students, who scored 75% or above in 10th and 12th grade, were to receive bicycles on October 25, 2026. However, authorities allegedly used a bulldozer to remove tents from the venue, forcing the cancellation. Organizers were issued a fine of ₹10.80 lakh by the local municipality. SP leader Dimple Yadav condemned the action, calling it shameful and stating that students' futures should not be subject to politics.

गाजियाबाद में समाजवादी पार्टी द्वारा 1,000 छात्राओं को साइकिल बांटने का एक कार्यक्रम रद्द कर दिया गया है। ये छात्राएं 10वीं और 12वीं कक्षा में 75% या उससे अधिक अंक लाई थीं, जिन्हें 25 अक्टूबर 2026 को साइकिलें मिलनी थीं। हालांकि, कथित तौर पर अधिकारियों ने कार्यक्रम स्थल से टेंट हटाने के लिए बुलडोजर का इस्तेमाल किया, जिससे कार्यक्रम रद्द करना पड़ा। स्थानीय नगर पालिका ने आयोजकों पर ₹10.80 लाख का जुर्माना भी लगाया। सपा नेता डिंपल यादव ने इस कार्रवाई की निंदा की और इसे शर्मनाक बताया, साथ ही कहा कि छात्रों के भविष्य को राजनीति का शिकार नहीं बनाया जाना चाहिए।
