Train Association Urges Railway Expansion and New Services

The Train Travellers Association has welcomed the proposed expansion of Malkajgiri Railway Station and urged railway authorities to introduce a new train service between Kurnool and Machilipatnam. They suggested naming the train the "Fort City Express" or "Maha Nandi Express" to reflect regional identity. The association also appealed for the extension of the Tungabhadra Express and the Visakhapatnam-Mahabubnagar Express to Kurnool or Guntakal. These extensions aim to improve connectivity between Rayalaseema and key destinations in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

ट्रेन ट्रैवलर्स एसोसिएशन ने मलकाजगिरी रेलवे स्टेशन के प्रस्तावित विस्तार का स्वागत किया है और रेलवे अधिकारियों से कुरनूल और मछलीपट्टनम के बीच एक नई ट्रेन सेवा शुरू करने का आग्रह किया है। उन्होंने क्षेत्रीय पहचान को दर्शाने के लिए ट्रेन का नाम "फोर्ट सिटी एक्सप्रेस" या "महा नंदी एक्सप्रेस" रखने का सुझाव दिया। एसोसिएशन ने तुंगभद्रा एक्सप्रेस और विशाखापत्तनम-महाबूबनगर एक्सप्रेस को कुरनूल या गुंतकल तक बढ़ाने की भी अपील की। इन विस्तारों का उद्देश्य रॉयलसीमा और आंध्र प्रदेश और तेलंगाना के प्रमुख गंतव्यों के बीच कनेक्टिविटी में सुधार करना है।
