Ranji Trophy: Meghalaya Team Suspended Due To Internal Dispute; New Team Plays

TV9 Hindi · sports

Meghalaya's Ranji Trophy team faced a major setback just before their match against Nagaland due to internal conflict. The team was suspended, leading to the emergence of a completely new squad for the game. Players who had already practiced and attended a meeting with the match referee were informed that they were no longer the official state team. This entire situation stems from an ongoing dispute between the Meghalaya Cricket Association president and its apex council, which has escalated to legal battles.
