Andhra Pradesh Teachers Association Demands Immediate Release of DA Arrears with Interest

The Navya Andhra Teachers Association (NTA) has urged the Andhra Pradesh government to immediately release pending Dearness Allowance (DA) arrears for employees under the Contributory Pension Scheme (CPS). The association highlighted that deadlines for instalment-based payments have passed, yet some employees have not received their full arrears, amounting to lakhs of rupees. Citing a Supreme Court ruling on interest for deferred payments, the NTA requested similar compensation for delayed DA arrears. They also sought employee-wise details of dues and a clear schedule for remaining instalments.

नव आंध्र शिक्षक संघ (NTA) ने आंध्र प्रदेश सरकार से कॉन्ट्रिब्यूटरी पेंशन स्कीम (CPS) के तहत कर्मचारियों के लंबित महंगाई भत्ता (DA) बकाया का तत्काल भुगतान करने का आग्रह किया है। संघ ने इस बात पर प्रकाश डाला कि किश्तों में भुगतान की समय सीमा बीत चुकी है, फिर भी कुछ कर्मचारियों को लाखों रुपये के उनके पूरे बकाया का भुगतान नहीं मिला है। विलंबित भुगतानों पर ब्याज के लिए सुप्रीम कोर्ट के फैसले का हवाला देते हुए, NTA ने विलंबित डीए बकाया के लिए इसी तरह के मुआवजे का अनुरोध किया। उन्होंने बकाया के कर्मचारी-वार विवरण और शेष किश्तों के लिए एक स्पष्ट कार्यक्रम भी मांगा।
