Former Congress MP Chinta Mohan will lead a delegation of Scheduled Caste devotees into the Tiruchanoor temple on October 13 to commemorate the temple entry movement's anniversary. This event marks the centenary of the temple entry, inspired by a 1925 legal defence by C. Rajagopalachari for an SC devotee. Mahatma Gandhi later led 33 Dalit devotees into the temple following the acquittal. Mohan invited leaders to join the historic celebration, which will involve 33 SC devotees entering the temple.
