Chitrakoot's Mau Town Gets Nagar Panchayat Status; ₹8 Crore for Development

Mau, a town in Bundelkhand's Chitrakoot district, has been upgraded from a Gram Panchayat to a Nagar Panchayat, marking a significant step towards development. This upgrade is expected to bring improved basic amenities and urban facilities to residents. Approximately ₹8 crore will be allocated for various development projects, including the beautification of parks, construction of paved roads, and enhancement of the cremation ground. An additional ₹12 crore has been requested for further development, including a gym center and better lighting.

बुंदेलखंड के चित्रकूट जिले का मऊ कस्बा, ग्राम पंचायत से नगर पंचायत में अपग्रेड हो गया है, जो विकास की दिशा में एक बड़ा कदम है। इस अपग्रेड से निवासियों को बेहतर बुनियादी सुविधाएं और शहरी सुविधाएं मिलने की उम्मीद है। पार्कों के सुंदरीकरण, पक्की सड़कों के निर्माण और श्मशान घाट के उन्नयन सहित विभिन्न विकास परियोजनाओं के लिए लगभग ₹8 करोड़ आवंटित किए जाएंगे। जिम सेंटर और बेहतर रोशनी सहित आगे के विकास के लिए ₹12 करोड़ का अतिरिक्त अनुरोध किया गया है।
