The United States is significantly increasing fees for the EB-5 Immigrant Investor Programme, effective November 30. This programme allows foreign investors and their families to obtain Green Cards by investing in US commercial enterprises and creating jobs. Filing fees for initial petitions will rise from $3,675 to over $7,600, with additional technology and integrity fees also introduced. Fees for regional centres and investors seeking to remove conditions on their status will also see substantial hikes.
