US to significantly increase EB-5 Green Card investor visa fees

The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has announced a substantial hike in fees for the EB-5 Immigrant Investor Programme. This programme allows foreign investors to obtain a Green Card by investing in U.S. commercial enterprises and creating jobs. The filing fee for standalone investors will rise from $3,675 to $7,615, while regional centre investors will see their initial petition fee increase to $7,850. Fees for removing conditions on residency and for regional centre applications will also see significant increases.
