Lucknow Traffic Awareness Month Begins With 400-Biker Safety Rally

Lucknow Police Commissionerate has launched Traffic Awareness Month, a campaign dedicated to enhancing road safety and reducing traffic fatalities. Police Commissioner Tarun Gauba inaugurated the initiative, emphasizing collective efforts to halve road deaths by 2030. The campaign will focus on the Five Es of road safety: education, enforcement, engineering, emergency care, and a better traffic environment. A 400-biker rally was flagged off to promote responsible riding and adherence to safety norms. Awareness programs in schools and colleges, along with stricter enforcement, are planned throughout November.

लखनऊ पुलिस कमिश्नरेट ने ट्रैफिक जागरूकता माह की शुरुआत की है, जो सड़क सुरक्षा बढ़ाने और यातायात से होने वाली मौतों को कम करने के लिए एक अभियान है। पुलिस कमिश्नर तरुण गाबा ने इस पहल का उद्घाटन किया और 2030 तक सड़क पर होने वाली मौतों को आधा करने के लिए सामूहिक प्रयासों पर जोर दिया। यह अभियान सड़क सुरक्षा के पांच 'ई' पर ध्यान केंद्रित करेगा: शिक्षा, प्रवर्तन, इंजीनियरिंग, आपातकालीन देखभाल और एक बेहतर यातायात वातावरण। जिम्मेदार राइडिंग और सुरक्षा नियमों के पालन को बढ़ावा देने के लिए 400 बाइकर्स की एक रैली को हरी झंडी दिखाकर रवाना किया गया। नवंबर भर स्कूलों और कॉलेजों में जागरूकता कार्यक्रम और सख्त प्रवर्तन की योजना है।
