A court in Angamaly has granted police custody of four individuals accused in a fatal Mini Cooper crash near Kochi until October 15. The accident, which occurred early Sunday, resulted in the deaths of three young people, including two women, when their scooter was hit by a speeding vehicle. The 19-year-old driver, Suhail, is alleged to have been under the influence of alcohol. Police have invoked charges including culpable homicide not amounting to murder and driving under the influence. Kerala's Home Minister assured strong action against the accused.

अंगामली की एक अदालत ने कोच्चि के पास हुई एक घातक मिनी कूपर दुर्घटना के चार आरोपियों को 15 अक्टूबर तक पुलिस हिरासत में भेज दिया है। रविवार तड़के हुई इस दुर्घटना में तेज रफ्तार वाहन की चपेट में आने से स्कूटर सवार तीन युवकों की मौत हो गई, जिनमें दो महिलाएं थीं। 19 वर्षीय ड्राइवर सुहेल पर शराब के नशे में गाड़ी चलाने का आरोप है। पुलिस ने गैर इरादतन हत्या और नशे में गाड़ी चलाने सहित अन्य धाराओं में मामला दर्ज किया है। केरल के गृह मंत्री ने आरोपियों के खिलाफ कड़ी कार्रवाई का आश्वासन दिया है।
