A senior doctor at Yashwantrao Chavan Memorial Hospital (YCMH) in Pune has been suspended following a video showing him allegedly holding a liquor party in the postmortem department. Medical officer Dr Vaibhav Mhaske was found intoxicated on duty, disrupting hospital services. The incident occurred, reportedly after a worker died at a construction site and his family sought to claim the body. This is the third controversy to hit YCMH in a month, raising concerns about hospital image and patient care.
