In Bihar's upcoming Legislative Council elections, the Rashtriya Lok Morcha (RLM), an NDA ally, has decided to support its own candidate, Ram Pukar Sinha, for the Saran Teachers constituency, defying the JD(U)'s nominee Anand Pushkar. Three of the four RLM MLAs cited respect for party workers for this decision, assuring they remain with the NDA. Meanwhile, JD(U) chief Nitish Kumar is reportedly attempting to resolve internal party rifts, including a dispute between MLA Anant Singh and MLC Neeraj Kumar, with Singh having declared support for an opposition candidate.
