The seventh day of Shardiya Navratri, is dedicated to Maa Kalratri, the seventh form of Goddess Durga. Despite her fearsome appearance, she is known as 'Shubhankari' for bringing well-being to her devotees. Worshipping her is believed to grant freedom from fear, negative forces, and life's obstacles. Devotees also seek victory over enemies and relief from the ill effects of Saturn. The goddess is offered jaggery or sweets made from it, and chanting the Kali Chalisa is considered auspicious.
