Tamil Nadu CB-CID has arrested a scammer from Rajasthan for allegedly creating and circulating AI-generated deepfake videos impersonating the Chief Minister. The videos, featuring Hindi audio, asked the public to contact a WhatsApp number for financial help. Investigators tracked the suspect to Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh, arresting him near Alwar with local police assistance. Mobile phones and electronic gadgets were seized.
