Gurugram DC Orders Dust Control at Construction Sites, Bans Open Waste Burning

Gurugram Deputy Commissioner Uttam Singh has ordered intensified measures to control air pollution, focusing on dust suppression at construction sites and regular road cleaning. Departments have been directed to ensure scientific waste disposal and take action against open burning of garbage and biomass. Construction sites will face regular inspections to ensure compliance with dust control norms, with anti-smog guns required where necessary. The DC also reviewed solid waste management, including legacy waste at the Bandhwari landfill, and emphasized preventing fires and illegal dumping.

गुरुग्राम के उपायुक्त उत्तम सिंह ने वायु प्रदूषण को नियंत्रित करने के लिए कड़े कदम उठाने का आदेश दिया है। उन्होंने निर्माण स्थलों पर धूल को कम करने और सड़कों की नियमित सफाई पर जोर दिया है। विभागों को वैज्ञानिक तरीके से कचरा निपटान सुनिश्चित करने और कूड़े व बायोमास को खुले में जलाने के खिलाफ कार्रवाई करने का निर्देश दिया गया है। निर्माण स्थलों पर धूल नियंत्रण नियमों का पालन सुनिश्चित करने के लिए नियमित निरीक्षण किया जाएगा, और जहाँ आवश्यक होगा वहाँ एंटी-स्मॉग गन का उपयोग किया जाएगा। डीसी ने बंधवाड़ी लैंडफिल में पुराने कचरे सहित ठोस अपशिष्ट प्रबंधन की भी समीक्षा की और आग लगने व अवैध डंपिंग को रोकने पर जोर दिया।
