Migrant Worker Killed By Wild Elephant In Idukki

A 28-year-old migrant worker from Madhya Pradesh, identified as Kumar, was killed by a wild elephant near Santhanpara in Idukki on Thursday night. The incident occurred around 9:30 p.m. Another worker accompanying him escaped unharmed. This is the third fatal elephant attack in the Devikulam Forest Range within four months, following two previous deaths in August and June. Forest and police teams have been dispatched to the scene.

इडुक्की के संथानपारा के पास गुरुवार रात मध्य प्रदेश के एक 28 वर्षीय प्रवासी मजदूर कुमार की जंगली हाथी ने जान ले ली। यह घटना रात करीब 9:30 बजे हुई। उसके साथ एक और मजदूर था जो बाल-बाल बच गया। पिछले चार महीनों में डेविकुलम फॉरेस्ट रेंज में यह तीसरी हाथी से मौत की घटना है। इससे पहले अगस्त और जून में भी दो लोगों की जान गई थी। वन और पुलिस की टीमें मौके पर पहुंच गई हैं।
