CPCL Eyes Renewable Energy Growth Journey

Chennai Petroleum Corporation Limited (CPCL) is exploring opportunities in the renewable energy sector, including compressed bio-gas (CBG) and sustainable aviation fuel (SAF). Managing Director H. Shankar stated the company is observing the significant shift towards hybrid EV and CNG vehicles. CPCL is also preparing for the transition by importing green power and using it in daily operations at its Manali refinery.

चेन्नई पेट्रोलियम कॉर्पोरेशन लिमिटेड (CPCL) अब रिन्यूएबल एनर्जी के क्षेत्र में भी मौके तलाश रही है। इसमें कंप्रेस्ड बायो-गैस (CBG) और सस्टेनेबल एविएशन फ्यूल (SAF) शामिल हैं। कंपनी के मैनेजिंग डायरेक्टर H. शंकर ने बताया कि वे हाइब्रिड EV और CNG गाड़ियों की तरफ बढ़ते रुझान पर नज़र रख रहे हैं। CPCL अपने मनाली रिफाइनरी में ग्रीन पावर इम्पोर्ट करके और उसे रोज़मर्रा के कामों में इस्तेमाल करके इस बदलाव के लिए तैयार हो रही है।
