Congress to Meet CJI Over Allegations of 'Vote Chori' and Undeclared Emergency

Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge announced that party leaders will meet the Chief Justice of India to voice concerns about constitutional institutions. Kharge accused the BJP of winning elections through 'vote chori' and alleged the country is experiencing an 'undeclared Emergency'. He stated that senior leader Rahul Gandhi and he had written to the CJI, and a meeting is scheduled to present their concerns. Kharge also criticized the Election Commission's independence and questioned the legal immunity granted to election commissioners under a recent act, calling it a conspiracy against democracy.

कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष मल्लिकार्जुन खरगे ने घोषणा की कि पार्टी के नेता संवैधानिक संस्थानों के बारे में अपनी चिंताओं को व्यक्त करने के लिए भारत के मुख्य न्यायाधीश से मिलेंगे। खरगे ने भाजपा पर 'वोट चोरी' के माध्यम से चुनाव जीतने का आरोप लगाया और दावा किया कि देश 'अघोषित आपातकाल' का अनुभव कर रहा है। उन्होंने कहा कि वरिष्ठ नेता राहुल गांधी और उन्होंने CJI को पत्र लिखा था, और उनकी चिंताओं को प्रस्तुत करने के लिए एक बैठक निर्धारित है। खरगे ने चुनाव आयोग की स्वतंत्रता की भी आलोचना की और हाल के एक अधिनियम के तहत चुनाव आयुक्तों को दी गई कानूनी छूट पर सवाल उठाया, इसे लोकतंत्र के खिलाफ साजिश बताया।
