Boeing to build US Navy's sixth-gen fighter jet as India eyes global projects

The US Navy has selected Boeing to develop its next carrier-based fighter under the F/A-XX program, marking a significant step in future airpower. Boeing revealed a new render of the winning design, showcasing a tailless, stealth-focused airframe. Meanwhile, India is actively engaging with two major global sixth-generation fighter projects: the UK-led GCAP and the French-led FCAS. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh confirmed India's plans for domestic production of both fifth and sixth-generation fighters, aiming to secure a position in future aerial combat development.
