Bihar Canal Yields Human Head; Mother Arrested For Daughter's Murder

Human body parts continue to be recovered from a canal in Bihar's Banka district, with a human head found on the fifth day. Police suspect the remains belong to 16-year-old Priya Kumari, and her mother, Sunita Devi, has been arrested on charges of murder and evidence tampering. So far, seven body parts and a hand have been found, but official confirmation awaits DNA reports. The investigation intensified after locals reported dogs tearing at a plastic bag containing a human skull.

बिहार के बांका जिले में एक नहर से लगातार इंसानी शरीर के अंग मिल रहे हैं, पाँचवें दिन एक इंसानी सिर मिला है। पुलिस को शक है कि ये अंग 16 साल की प्रिया कुमारी के हैं, और उसकी माँ सुनीता देवी को हत्या और सबूत मिटाने के आरोप में गिरफ्तार किया गया है। अब तक सात शरीर के अंग और एक हाथ मिला है, लेकिन डीएनए रिपोर्ट का इंतज़ार है। स्थानीय लोगों द्वारा कुत्तों को प्लास्टिक के थैले में इंसानी खोपड़ी चबाते हुए देखने की सूचना के बाद जांच तेज हुई।
