बीजेपी ने कांग्रेस नेता राहुल गांधी पर बांग्लादेश आंदोलन से तुलना करते हुए भारतीय लोकतंत्र को अराजकता के जरिए तबाह करने का आरोप लगाया है। राष्ट्रीय प्रवक्ता प्रदीप भंडारी ने आरोप लगाया कि गांधी के सहयोगी नेहा बोरा ने बांग्लादेश से प्रेरणा लेने और भारत में इसी तरह के 'Gen Z' आंदोलन की इच्छा जताई, जिससे संभावित रूप से 'तख्तापलट' हो सकता है। भंडारी ने दावा किया कि गांधी की 'राजनीतिक प्रतिरोध' की बयानबाजी का मकसद अराजकता फैलाना और भारतीय राज्य को अस्थिर करना है। उन्होंने जोर देकर कहा कि गांधी की रणनीति वास्तविक लोकतांत्रिक विरोध में शामिल होने के बजाय सत्ता हासिल करने के लिए अराजकता को गले लगाना और उसे सही ठहराना है।
