Two Naga Civilians Killed in Manipur

Two Naga civilians were killed by unknown armed individuals in Manipur's Senapati district on Saturday. This incident occurred just one day after four Tangkhul Naga civilians were killed in the Kamjong district. The deceased have been identified as Rocky and Kumar from Senapati district. The killings took place shortly after the United Naga Council announced the lifting of an indefinite economic blockade on national highways in Manipur. The blockade had been imposed demanding action regarding the alleged abduction and killing of six Naga civilians.

मणिपुर के सेन्नापति जिले में शनिवार को अज्ञात बंदूकधारियों ने दो नागा नागरिकों की हत्या कर दी। यह घटना कोंगजांग जिले में चार तांगखुल नागा नागरिकों के मारे जाने के एक दिन बाद हुई। मृतकों की पहचान सेन्नापति जिले के रॉकी और कुमार के रूप में हुई है। यह हत्याएं यूनाइटेड नागा काउंसिल द्वारा मणिपुर में राष्ट्रीय राजमार्गों पर अनिश्चितकालीन आर्थिक नाकाबंदी हटाने की घोषणा के तुरंत बाद हुईं।
