Supreme Court Hears CBSE Compulsory Language Plea

The Supreme Court is hearing pleas challenging the Central Board of Secondary Education's decision to make a third language compulsory for Class 9 students. This new rule is set to be implemented from the 2026-27 academic year. Senior advocates Gopal and Ms. Bhati were mentioned in relation to the case, with SG Tushar Mehta noting Ms. Bhati's absence due to personal reasons.

सुप्रीम कोर्ट CBSE के उस फैसले पर सुनवाई कर रहा है जिसमें 9वीं कक्षा के छात्रों के लिए तीसरी भाषा को अनिवार्य कर दिया गया है। यह नया नियम 2026-27 शैक्षणिक सत्र से लागू होगा। इस मामले में सीनियर एडवोकेट गोपाल और सुश्री भाटी का ज़िक्र हुआ। SG तुषार मेहता ने बताया कि सुश्री भाटी निजी कारणों से अनुपस्थित थीं।
