Oil Prices Decline Further Amidst Recovering Gulf Exports, Persistent Risks
Hindustan Times · business
Oil prices extended their losses as signs of a recovery in Persian Gulf crude exports eased supply concerns. Brent crude futures fell to $95.31 a barrel and West Texas Intermediate futures dropped to $86.76 a barrel. Analysts noted that Persian Gulf oil exports have likely recovered to 23.3 million barrels a day. Despite increased exports and faster-than-anticipated pipeline recovery, risks to regional energy infrastructure and shipping persist, keeping crude prices elevated due to potential production threats and low global inventories.
