Four ventilators valued at approximately ₹20 lakh have been stolen from the Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) in Adilabad district. The theft occurred on October 30 from the Respiratory Intensive Care Unit and other wards, with the incident coming to light the following day. CCTV footage revealed unidentified individuals stealing the equipment, with each ventilator costing an estimated ₹5 lakh. The Adilabad II Town Police have registered a case and launched an investigation, but the accused have not yet been identified.
