Krishna Kumar Gupta, aged 75, has achieved a remarkable feat by completing his MA in Social Work from IGNOU. His accomplishment has been recognized by the Golden Book of World Records as the oldest individual to pursue and successfully complete a Master's program in Social Work. Gupta was also honored for his early contributions as a volunteer in establishing the NSS. He expressed gratitude to IGNOU for providing the opportunity for higher education at his age.
