Kerala Police Downgrades Opposition Leader Pinarayi Vijayan's Security Cover

The Kerala Police has downgraded the personal security of the Leader of the Opposition, Pinarayi Vijayan, from Z+ to Y category. This decision was made by the security review coordination committee, which also reassessed security for other VIPs. Vijayan will now travel with a pilot vehicle instead of a convoy and will have two personal security guards. The review aimed to assess existing threat levels for various leaders. Governor and Chief Minister retain Z+ security, while other ministers and officials receive Y category with escort.
