Devastating floods in Chapra, Bihar, have left many villagers displaced, with water still inundating homes. Affected residents, including the elderly and children, are now living in makeshift tents on highway embankments and roads. They face constant fear of poisonous creatures like snakes and scorpions due to the surrounding jungle and water. While the district administration has provided relief, many are still unable to return to their submerged houses. The Munger and Amaur blocks are the most severely impacted areas.
