Pakistan's military spokesman stated the country will "go to any extent" to defend ally Saudi Arabia amid increased Houthi attacks. This vow comes after Riyadh accused Houthi forces of a "cowardly" attack targeting Mecca. Pakistan pledged support both diplomatically and physically, reinforcing a recent joint defence agreement signed with Saudi Arabia and Turkey. The pact aims for mutual defence, though Turkey noted no official request for assistance has been received yet.
