EC Alerts All Districts, Disables Operator IDs After Pilibhit Voter List Irregularities

Following alleged misuse of the ECINET portal and irregularities in voter lists, the Election Commission has taken a significant step. The Chief Electoral Officer of Uttar Pradesh has ordered the immediate deactivation of login IDs for computer assistants, or voter registration center operators, across all district ERO offices in the state. This measure aims to prevent any unauthorized activities on the portal by operators. District Election Officers will verify the deactivation and submit compliance reports, while the computer assistant involved in the Pilibhit case faces immediate termination.

ECINET पोर्टल के कथित दुरुपयोग और मतदाता सूची में गड़बड़ी के बाद, चुनाव आयोग ने एक अहम कदम उठाया है। उत्तर प्रदेश के मुख्य निर्वाचन अधिकारी ने राज्य के सभी जिला ERO कार्यालयों में कंप्यूटर सहायक, यानी मतदाता पंजीकरण केंद्र ऑपरेटरों के लॉगिन आईडी को तुरंत निष्क्रिय करने का आदेश दिया है। इस कदम का मकसद ऑपरेटरों द्वारा पोर्टल पर किसी भी अनधिकृत गतिविधि को रोकना है। जिला निर्वाचन अधिकारी निष्क्रियता की पुष्टि करेंगे और अनुपालन रिपोर्ट जमा करेंगे, जबकि पीलीभीत मामले में शामिल कंप्यूटर सहायक को तुरंत बर्खास्त किया जाएगा।
