Congress Leader Slams Election Commission Over Voter List Revision

Congress leader K.C. Venugopal has criticized the Election Commission's decision to conduct a voter list revision in 17 states and union territories, including Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Goa, Punjab, and Manipur, ahead of upcoming assembly elections. He accused the EC of acting too late and too little, demanding the Chief Election Commissioner resign and become a government witness. Venugopal stated that the damage done under government instructions cannot be undone by this notification.
