IMD Forecasts Rain Across India; Heavy Showers Alert for Southern States

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted isolated to scattered rainfall across various Indian states on Thursday. Regions including Uttarakhand, East Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Bihar, Odisha, parts of West Bengal, and South India are expected to receive showers. Thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds are also anticipated in several areas. Heavy rainfall is specifically alerted for isolated parts of South India, while the Northeast and southern peninsula will experience widespread rainfall activity. Delhi-NCR is not under any significant warning.
