In Gruver, Texas, farmers are cultivating 640 acres of land donated in 1984 to provide college scholarships. Local farmers volunteer their time and resources to grow crops, generating approximately $400,000 annually. Since 2016, this initiative has awarded nearly $3 million to around 300 students pursuing higher education. The program began after a discussion between a former superintendent and a local farmer, transforming leased land into a significant educational fund for the community's youth.
