A Ugandan journalist, Prince Edward Rukidi Kijanangoma Nyabongo II, is set to be crowned king of the Tooro kingdom. This follows a succession dispute after the death of his predecessor, King Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV, who was once the world's youngest monarch. The late king died at 34 after battling cancer. Despite claims from the late king's mother for his son to ascend, a royal clan committee chose Prince Edward.
