India Nepal Teams Rescue Workers Trapped In Tunnel

Indian and Nepali teams are intensifying rescue operations for six workers trapped inside a tunnel at Nepal's Chilime hydropower project. Heavy machinery, including excavators and loaders, is being used to clear mud and debris. Progress has been made, with rescuers clearing approximately 70 metres of the tunnel. The powerhouse is estimated to be about 60 metres further. Rescue efforts are ongoing through the night to reach the trapped workers.

नेपाल के चिलिमे हाइड्रोपावर प्रोजेक्ट में फँसे छह मजदूरों को निकालने के लिए भारतीय और नेपाली टीमें बचाव अभियान तेज कर रही हैं। कीचड़ और मलबा हटाने के लिए एक्सकेवेटर और लोडर जैसी भारी मशीनरी का इस्तेमाल हो रहा है। अब तक करीब 70 मीटर सुरंग साफ की जा चुकी है। पावरहाउस अभी लगभग 60 मीटर दूर है। मजदूरों तक पहुँचने के लिए रात भर बचाव कार्य जारी है।
