The Punjab Congress is contemplating the potential return of former Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh, who left the party five years ago. Congress general secretary Sachin Pilot stated that "anything is possible in politics" regarding Singh's comeback, praising him as a leader who served Punjab well. Rahul Gandhi also recently expressed fondness for Singh, despite his current affiliation with the BJP.
