A temple priest in Kerala has been arrested by the Ernakulam Rural Cyber Police for allegedly making derogatory remarks online against reformer Sri Narayana Guru and the Ezhava community. The accused, K.V. Subhash, a native of Muvattupuzha, was booked after a complaint about a YouTube video. The FIR states he sought to insult and defame the Guru and the Sree Narayana Dharma Paripalana Yogam. He has been charged with disrupting public peace and provoking hatred between communities.
