India To Supply 654MW Power To Nepal Daily

India will supply up to 654 MW of electricity daily to Nepal until December 31, effective September 13. This crucial lifeline aims to support Nepal after devastating floods damaged its hydropower infrastructure, significantly reducing domestic power generation. The supply will help Nepal meet its immediate energy needs during this challenging period, reinforcing the strong energy cooperation between the two nations. Future supply quantum from January 2027 will be reviewed in December 2026.

भारत नेपाल को देगा प्रतिदिन 654MW बिजली

भारत 13 सितंबर से 31 दिसंबर तक नेपाल को हर दिन 654 मेगावाट बिजली देगा। यह मदद नेपाल के लिए बहुत ज़रूरी है, क्योंकि बाढ़ ने वहाँ के बिजली बनाने वाले ढाँचे को नुकसान पहुँचाया है। इससे नेपाल अपनी ऊर्जा की ज़रूरतें पूरी कर पाएगा। दोनों देशों के बीच ऊर्जा सहयोग और मज़बूत होगा। जनवरी 2027 से आगे की बिजली आपूर्ति पर दिसंबर 2026 में बात होगी।
