Hyundai Motor America is recalling 94,622 vehicles in the US due to a fire risk associated with front power seat motors. These motors may overheat if the power seat control switch gets stuck, potentially causing a fire while parked or driving. The affected models include certain 2015-2016 Hyundai Genesis and 2017-2020 Genesis G80 vehicles. Hyundai is aware of two alleged fire incidents but no related injuries or crashes. Owners are advised to park their vehicles outdoors until repairs are completed, though the remedy is still under development.
