Mumbai secured the eighth position globally in Knight Frank's Prime Global Cities Index for Q2 2026, with prime residential prices increasing by 6.2% year-on-year. This growth significantly outpaced the 2.6% average recorded across 46 cities in the index. Bengaluru and New Delhi also featured in the top 20, ranking 12th and 17th respectively. The report highlights Mumbai's strong demand in the luxury segment, reinforcing its status as a key market for long-term wealth creation.
