Mumbai police have registered a murder FIR against a 10-year-old neighbour in connection with the death of an 18-month-old toddler. The toddler was allegedly pushed down a stairwell from the sixth floor of a Goregaon building. The FIR was filed based on a complaint by the toddler's mother, who stated CCTV footage showed the 10-year-old summoning and then throwing the child. The accused child has been placed under counselling by the Juvenile Justice Board and released into her parents' care. The family has reportedly moved out of the society.
