CPI(M) Condemns Lathi Charge, Seeks Judicial Probe

The CPI(M) State committee has condemned the alleged lathi charge against YSR Congress Party workers and unemployed youth protesting sports quota appointments under the District Selection Committee (DSC) recruitment. CPI(M) State secretary V. Srinivasa Rao stated that protests are a fundamental right in a democracy. He urged the government to order a judicial inquiry into the DSC appointments allegations instead of involving teachers, which could escalate confrontation.

सी.पी.आई.(एम) राज्य समिति ने डी.एस.सी. भर्ती के तहत खेल कोटे की नियुक्तियों के विरोध में प्रदर्शन कर रहे वाई.एस.आर. कांग्रेस पार्टी के कार्यकर्ताओं और बेरोजगार युवाओं पर कथित लाठीचार्ज की निंदा की है। सी.पी.आई.(एम) राज्य सचिव वी. श्रीनिवास राव ने कहा कि लोकतंत्र में विरोध प्रदर्शन मौलिक अधिकार है। उन्होंने सरकार से शिक्षकों को शामिल करने के बजाय डी.एस.सी. नियुक्तियों के आरोपों की न्यायिक जांच का आदेश देने का आग्रह किया।
