Delhi HC: DCP Sandeep Lamba Not Tarnished

The Delhi High Court stated that DCP Sandeep Lamba's reputation cannot be tarnished based solely on a video of him slapping a woman protestor at Jantar Mantar. Justice Girish Kathpalia questioned the basis for tarnishing his reputation, noting that many are unaware of the ground realities during large demonstrations.

दिल्ली हाई कोर्ट ने कहा कि DCP संदीप लांबा की इज्जत सिर्फ जंतर-मंतर पर एक महिला प्रदर्शनकारी को थप्पड़ मारने वाले वीडियो के आधार पर खराब नहीं की जा सकती। जस्टिस गिरीश कथपालिया ने उनकी इज्जत खराब करने के आधार पर सवाल उठाया। उन्होंने कहा कि बड़े प्रदर्शनों के दौरान जमीनी हकीकत के बारे में कई लोग अनजान होते हैं।
