BYD's Luxury EV Brand Denza Confirms India Debut

BYD's premium electric vehicle brand, Denza, is set to launch in India on November 13, 2026. Initially, the brand will introduce the D9 luxury MPV and later the Z9 GT shooting brake. Denza, formerly a joint venture with Mercedes-Benz, is now fully controlled by BYD and will compete with established luxury automakers like BMW and Audi. The vehicles will be imported as Completely Built Units (CBUs), targeting the Rs 80 lakh to Rs 1.5 crore segment. Denza will operate its own exclusive showrooms in major Indian cities.
