Kerala HC Grants Bail in Vadakara Drug Case

The Kerala High Court has granted bail to K. Kavya, the third accused in the Vadakara MDMA drug trafficking case. Kavya, a special educator, was arrested for allegedly acting as a financial intermediary for inter-State drug traffickers. Justice Kauser Edappagath noted that the investigation was nearly complete and Kavya had no prior criminal record. She was granted bail on a ₹1 lakh bond with sureties, requiring her to cooperate with the investigation and report weekly.

केरल हाई कोर्ट ने वडकारा एमडीएमए ड्रग तस्करी मामले में तीसरी आरोपी के. काव्या को जमानत दे दी है। काव्या, जो एक विशेष शिक्षक हैं, पर अंतर-राज्यीय ड्रग तस्करों के लिए वित्तीय मध्यस्थ के तौर पर काम करने का आरोप था। जस्टिस कौसर एडप्पागाथ ने कहा कि जांच लगभग पूरी हो चुकी है और काव्या का कोई आपराधिक रिकॉर्ड नहीं है।
